Mom's Day

I know I'll always be thankful to the beautiful woman who decided to continue a very difficult pregnancy for me to be here today. She's my ultimate hero, and I'll always try to make her proud. Yay for moms and for those people who took on the job as well!

The Year of the Brave Bear

My friend Berni Xiong just published her first book, and I had the pleasure to make the cover art.
She is one inspiring gal and you can see it for yourself in here

3 minute fish

For some time I've been trying to do a screen capture of me drawing a quick sketch, just for fun. I recently discovered the screen recording feature available on Quicktime, so I packed my stuff, went to a coffee house and this is what came up.

A different cover letter

A really good friend of mine reached out to me to help him out with this pretty original idea:
to create a cover letter in a comic/storyboard format. I made 10 different slides for him and these are my favorite ones.

I hope this helps him get the amazing job he deserves!

Freddie Freddy

This one is an oldie, but I really like how it turned out. Limited palette helps you find new ways to apply color.

Speaking of aliens...

I was going through some of my old folders and I found this illo that I did a while back. At the time I was a little obsessed with the Ancient Aliens series, where they usually mentioned that humans were the result of aliens and primitive homo sapiens getting frisky. This is how I think they started seeing each other...

Maki, the little fat Boston Terrier

Most Sundays I get to spend some time with my friend Chumpot and his dog, Maki.
Even though he snores and farts like a grown man you can't help to love this little guy.

The Chicago Theater

I had to draw a bunch of Chicago iconic buildings for a project, and I honestly had more fun than I thought. I never draw architecture, so it was great to do something new.
